Today was a very special day for me. Today is the day when I find myself in agreement with Dianne Feinstein. I cannot believe that the President-ELECT decided to go with Panetta for his pick to head the CIA. What would process him to pick someone who does not have any intelligence experience? In these dangerous times the US can't afford to not have dependable and accurate intelligence.
Even Feinstein agrees with me that we need a person who is an intelligence professional at the helm of the CIA.
It amazes me how Obama can think that Panetta has the experience or knowledge to lead the CIA during these troubled times. Obama is so worried that the head of the CIA must have no connections to any of Bush's policies that he is excluding some solid candidates. So he would rather dust off yet another former Clinton crony without the needed qualifications. So much for Obama bringing change to Washington.
God help us with change like this.
